I’ll give it a try…

1. Press the * key to switch to VFO mode.

2. Enter the output frequency of a repeater.

3. Press F/W (bottom right) then 1, and turn the knob on the top until the display says Tone. F/W or PTT to exit.

4. Press F/W and then the number 2, and turn the knob until the tone mentioned for that repeater shows on the display. F/W or PTT to exit.

5. F/W then 3 to adjust power output. Try high.

6. F/W then 4 to adjust offset direction if your radio doesn’t automatically pick the right one based on the frequency you entered.
