Re: AA NiMH batteries, input on brands

I've had such good service from Eneloop, that I've never tried anything else. Would be good to learn what other's have experienced from other brands.

As a data point I've used this brand in AAA size and they work great in some pretty harsh conditions.

Subject: [Yaesu-FT-60] AA NiMH batteries, input on brands

Hello all,

I ran across some AA NiMH batteries made by Tenergy, I have never heard of the brand personally and was wondering if anyone here has used them before.? For the most part I have found positive reviews, still I'm curious.

Here is a link to the particular ones I found:

The price of these batteries are economical but most of the times you get what you pay for.

What brands of AA NiMH batteries has everyone here used with the FBA-25 battery case?? The good, the bad, the ugly. LOL

One more thing, I read some reviews on the Amazon Basics NiMH batteries where the purchaser peeled the Amazon branded sleeve off of the battery, to find that they were Panasonic branded batteries.? One reviewer did the same, to find that they were Samsung batteries.? I know it's common for companies to rebrand products for resale under their company name.? Again just curious if anyone here has read of this or has first hand knowledge.?
Quite a few reviews stated that the batteries tested and performed as well as Eneloops, and Powerx AA NiMH batteries.? Can anyone validate that claim?

Thanks in advance to everyone.
