Weak battery would be my guess.

I haven't used my FT60 for quite a while. After reading the
latest post I dug it, and that's when I started losing my mind
too.
When I press the PTT switch to transmit the radio acts like it
is powering on: screen goes blank; radio "beeps;" it lights and
displays 7.4V; then it displays the frequency (it's defaulting
to 430.000).
I tried the reset: Off > MONI/on > dial ALLRST > press
FW and all I get is the same as above.
Any suggestions?
