If you have not tried a Full Reset, perhaps the problem radio's microprocessor?has become corrupted somehow.? Seems to happen to my radios from time to time.
Page 64 of the manual spells out the simple procedure.? Absent?that, probably time to consult with Yaesu Tech Support.

I have 2 FT-60's. One works fine, one shuts down and restarts when I transmit on UHF at high power. Only on high power; does not do this on Low or ExLow power. Switched out identical antennas between the radios. Same issue. Switched out batteries. Same issue on the "restart" radio. Fully capable batteries on each, showing 8.0 and 8.1 V on startup. (I know a weak battery show the same result.) Can anyone think of a reason for failure on high power on UHF (same all across the band)? VHF works fine across the band on all power settings.
