If you look at page 19, you will see the corrections I made. I don't hold out any hope that Yaesu will clean up their guide, which is why I wrote my own.

I have been following the problem Dora raised about a repeater that she says is in her area that she gas had trouble with. Many good answers have been given, but apparently Dora was still having trouble.
I remember when I first received my FT-60 I had the same issue. I searched the web for answers and found one that cleared it up. It was the numbered sequence of instructions on page 22. If Dora’s manual is like the one I recently downloaded, which is the same as the one I have, (2 years old) this could be her problem,? if she tried to follow the sequence as listed.? Step ‘3’ must be skipped, then proceed to step 4 then 5 and 6.
Apparently Yaesu hasn’t cleared up these instructions. I Renumbered? the sequence 2 as 2a, and changed ‘3’ to 2b, 2c and 2d; then 4 became 3 and so on.? The steps 2a to 2d could be used to set up the other codes should you want to use them later.
