If you feel like getting a battery with a decent run time for your ft60, go the DIY route with two lithium 18650 cells. Get the "protected" type NCR18650B (3350?mAh)?so that you can operate the radio all the way to low voltage cut-off without the worry of damaging the cells. It will double the run time of the radio, but also with these cells there is no voltage sag, no more resets when operating on high power. A BMS is not needed in this case as the cells will be removed and will get charged in parallel. As long as a proper lithium battery charger is used, this will be the last battery pack you will ever build for your ft60.
