Hi Tom,

?

I tried it on my FT-60 and it worked as described. The only thing I would note is that I pressed the HM/RV key firmly. The display immediately switches to my channel 1 repeater name.

?

Note that in step 2 in the manual, after I hold the F/W key for one second, the display switches to the next “open” (blank) channel; I have to turn the dial back to select the channel I actually want to delete. For example, let’s say I want to delete channel 4. After I press and hold the F/W key, the display switches to the next “open” (blank) channel (29 in my case). I then scroll back until I get back to channel 4 and hit the HM/RV button firmly.

?

I’m not sure this adds anything, but best of luck.

Subject: [Yaesu-FT-60] Another trouble removing ft60 memory channel

?

New,2 day old ft60 owner.? Ive read about page,32 removing memory channel in memory. In trying to set up repeaters and simplex channels. I cant remove 12 mistake channels.
When i very lightly touch button hm/rv, display shows, Home In. But channel still remains.?
Sorry for asking a constant ft60 abnormality?
