As of the last year or two, Yahoo Groups has been less
reliable, and sometimes intermittent. Some messages do not get through to
all group members.
As it is a freebie, the new owners are not putting a lot of resources
into it.
groups.io has been more reliable, and has provided migration for entire
Yahoo groups; files, archives, lists and everything, pretty much
transparently to group members. If you use incoming filters on your
email, you may need to adjust them. Seems to have all of the Yahoo groups
features.
