My solution to getting Chirp to work with my three FT-60's was to get a better cable.? I purchased a cable which used an FTDI chip rather than a Prolific chip for the USB to serial conversion.? I haven't had any problems since.? The cable I'm using is sourced from KJ6ZWL via Amazon (). His company name on Amazon & eBay is "Bluemax49ers".? I've purchased several cables from him and not been disappointed.
