I have 2 FBA-25A battery cases and 12 Enloop AA batteries. Indeed, the snap will not close with the batteries in place; however, the FBA-25A is still a good option. The charged batteries provide plenty of power and have a long shelf life with minimal power loss.?
Another option is to modify the FBA-25A to use 18650 rechargeable batteries. Here’s on example:?
