I would encourage getting the
Yaesu speaker/microphone for use with the FT-60.? It¡¯s a good durable
microphone which is designed to seat properly in the receptacle on the
radio.? I¡¯ve had problems getting non-Yaesu plugs to seat properly due to
the design of the FT-60.? It might cost a few extra dollars but you won¡¯t
wish you¡¯d bought a better one later.
That said, you could follow
Greg¡¯s (K35FIL) suggestion to look at Pryme.? They have a good reputation
though I have no experience with them.? I got the Yaesu speaker/mic with
my radio and haven¡¯t had any regrets.? Based on my experience with MFJ
products I would discourage buying any MFJ product you can¡¯t test in person
befo re buying.
