I'm really not interested in joining the group, but I do have one question that no one in my local radio club can answer for me and I'm not finding an answer online.
I purchased a Yaesu FT-60 a year ag -- That is what it says on the front of the radio, anyway. I got it off of E-bay with a lot of accessories. The Operating Manual that came with it is for a Yaesu FT-60R.
The handheld microphone that came with it does not work so I am needing to get a replacement. Is the microphone listed in the book for either FT-60 or FT-60R, or do I need to figure out what will work on the FT-60?
What is the difference between the FT-60 and the FT-60R?
