It would be easiest if you can find the frequencies the airport/air show uses, and save those as a group in one of the ten banks the FT-60 has available. Then you just have to scan the bank and those particular frequencies. That would save time scanning unused frequencies, and let you hear more of the action. Google listed almost a dozen frequencies used at CYQR, my local airport. "Private" frequencies for Air Canada, and smaller companies at the airport, plus the Arrival, Departure, and Ground frequencies were easy to find. There are also NavCanada frequencies in use here, as well as Shell's fuelling state, and the airport fire frequencies (with the signal I get from the Fire radios, I can only assume they are putting out LOTS of power.) Phrasing the search terms differently gave some very interesting hits. Enjoy the show, and those awesome Red Arrows!
