His radio is probably locked. Ask him if there is an icon of a lock on the screen. ?He can press and hold the 6 key to unlock. What is locked can be changed in the menu settings. ?He should look in his manual. Jardy Dawson WA7JRD Ham Radio

A friend of mine who is out in Spain paragliding is unable to change the frequency on his FT60 he says the buttons and the knob have no affect, after I gave him a few tips I then told him to do a full factory reset which he says he did the frequency changed to the default but he still can't operate the keys or the knob to change frequencies, any ideas?
