But even if the frequency is out of band, or the capabilities of the radio,the normal behavior is 1) not to allow you to store the out of band values and 2) The radio will not allow you to transmit by beeping and reverting back to a legitimate frequency.
It will not shut down and reboot simply because you are out of band?!
Or am I missing something.
The fact that the radio has been dormant suggest a depleted battery or some bizzar thing happened to it while in storage.
If you program anything else, in any other memory will this behavior occur?
