Somehow I got to copy the data from the 7800 to a
new file for the 60. ?Anyway, when I try to send it to
the radio, I get the message that the data doesn't match
the radio (?) ?Both rigs use the version ?4 programs
from RT Systems, ?and I was under the impression it
would work. ?Any ideas as to where I am going wrong?
RT Systems needs to hear this question loud and clear. I have the
same combo of radios and RT Systems
software and hardware for both. I struggled with the same issue. I
had the good fortune to see them
at a Pacificon and they showed me how to do what you ask. It isn't
too complicated but also isn't
well explained or intuitive. I don't really remember all of the
steps.
My bottom line response is really - take this question to RT Systems
- they do respond to questions.
While chirp may work, it is just different and will introduce more
issues with data structure conversion
and "loss" in translating the data from one format to another.
