I don't buy replacements for stock 1400mAh battery on my older FT-60 (circa
2007).? I have a AA case and use Eneloops religiously.? The only time
the stock battery is used is while the Eneloops are charging.? The original
1400mAh?battery is starting to go low much?quicker now than it did
when it was new.? So, I'll toss it soon and buy six more 2000mAhEneloops
for the AA case.? Much more reliable, longer transmit life?and don't
have to worry about overcharging with the wall wart.? I have two separate
NiMh chargers that accommodate 4 cells each. In the long run, I find this more
economical than buying a "quality" replacement for the original battery.
