Re: Odd error message

Hi Garry

The error message tells me that Commander is written in some version of Visual Basic programming language.

The error you describe tells you that an object (most probably the radio) was not instantiated (programming lingo) that means it was not established which means the driver of the cable chip could not "see" (communicate with) the radio.

So, to solve this problem is to revert to an older driver that could "see" the chipset on your cable. I would suggest reinstalling commander software after "upgrading" to Windows 10, and that may refresh the driver issue which might solve the problem.?

You also need to be aware that if you happen to be using a knock off cable, Windows 10 had already hosed it so its inoperable no matter what you do with it. This has been the practice since say Windows 7.

Hope this helps
