Re: Repeater question

Any repeater lookup source is only as accurate as the information that is reported to it.?I know of some where the repeater was?taken down,?moved or the tone changed and the owner hadn't reported the change or has taken their time doing so.

Hi Rick. I've used too. It's a great place to start.?
Just beware sometimes it's not 100% accurate. I was in the Santa Fe area recently and was looking for an IRLP node and found a frequency. Connecting to the node was unsuccessful and then a local Ham operator came up on the radio and said it wasn't working.?
Here's another source for frequencies:

I have an app on my iPod touch called Repeater Book which comes from . Assuming it is accurate, it sure is helpful.

When I see "Repeater Heading: north" does this mean that the main radiating lobe is pointing north? Could not find the answer with Google.
