Just in case you only have email access at the moment...

1. Go into VFO mode using the V/M key
2. type in the receive frequency
3. Press F/W, then 1 to set the squelch type
4. Press F/W, then 2 to set the squelch frequency
5. Hold down F/W for more than a second?and the next available memory location will flash in the top right corner of the display. Use the channel knob to change to another location if required, then press F/W to store.

If you need a non standard offset for the transmit, repeat the above, but when storing hold down PTT while you press F/W
