not sure about charge time on the car charger, but I do remember it shouldn't be left on it all the time as there's no over charge check done.
I just charge over night on the wall wart and it's done.

UPS delivered my FT-60 today. The manual says to let
it charge for ten hours. How long does it take the included
charger to bring the battery to full charge under normal use? Is
the car charger any faster?

Call HRO and get the Yaesu software and it comes with
a cable. After-market cables require an adapter to make the
computer and the software to talk back and fore to radio. I
found this the best way to program the FT-60, the only other
thing you need wit the Yaesu software is a repeater
directory.

[FT-60] programming
?
I'm new to the world of HAM, but I do not know what
programming is needed for the FT-60. I just saved my
local repeaters in memory and gave them a name. Is
there more that I am missing. I don't have any
programming cable. ???
