So far I'm very impressed. I just sold a VX5R, because I wanted a new dual band, without alot of fluff - just a solid HT.
My biggest Praise of the radio so far, is that I have had a number of QSO's using the 5 watt setting already and the HT does NOT get HOT in my hand. I don't know if I just havn't talked at high power long enough yet or not, but on the VX5R it would have been hot to the touch during that same length of QSO.
This radio reminds me of my first HT - the HTX202 - it feels solid in my hand - it doesnt feel like a toy.
