Correct serial numbers

Paul Werz #18 I have acquired a FT101E .and somewhat confused serial number on back is 5G 301207? ? and one on side chassis just 301452? Trying to track down the correct model early /mid /late to determine if the correct boards are installed trying to track down? a problem Iam transmitting a hum . Any help or guidance would be appreciated
kc4umo All Messages By This Member #19 开云体育 Hi Paul, Looks like your 101 was made May of 1985. So not worry with the side number, only the rear. ? 5= 85 G= May 301207 production run. ? As far as the hum you will need to figure out if it is audio or power supply. Remove the audio board and see if you still have a hum, if so then power supply. ? Hope that helps. ?
