Hi Paul, Looks like your 101 was made May of 1985. So not worry with the side number, only the rear. ? 5= 85 G= May 301207 production run. ? As far as the hum you will need to figure out if it is audio or power supply. Remove the audio board and see if you still have a hum, if so then power supply. ? Hope that helps. ? Buddy ?
