FT-101EE shield for 12BY7?

If you had a shield that would fit in your junk box, I don’t see anything wrong with putting it on, but it isn’t necessary.? Roger VE7LB All Messages By This Member #247 I wouldn't put a shield over the 12BY7 as they run very hot as is. I suspect that the designers found that they got the required amount of shielding required with just the lower part of the tube shielded. 73 Roger VE7LB
