Thank you Peter. So are you confirming that mine is simply the FT-101 which was from the original first group of ft-101 radios before the B came out as was stated before?

I am also curious about power connectors as mine came with no cables.
I have since acquired an AC cable (Japanese) plug with the pins showing as listed below
3,2,1
6,5,4
9,8,7
12,11,10
Would this be the correct AC for the FT-101?
?
Might you or anyone else be able to confirm the correct pinouts for a DC cable please as I would love to run the rig from my external power supply rather than AC?
?
Is there a mode or component that I must verify to find out if it is able to accept DC power as I recall seeing something of the sort on a website prior to when I acquired this rig?
