I have acquired an FT-101 with serial number 83C133037.
With all the other posts of demystifying the meaning behind the serial number I understand the following.
-Built in 1983 (althought the ft-101 was only built from 1970 through 1971, so this does not add up)
- C=January?
- 13 is the Lot number
- 3037 is the simple serial number.
?
Does this mean that even thought the front shows it to be ft-101 that it could in fact be a 101z or something else?
Any clarifications to this would be greatly appreciated.
