the RF gain circuit is connected to PC 1181 - MJ(1), PB 1183 -MJ(3), PB 1582- MJ(7). Check the voltage chart. pg 4-17

I have been given an FT101E in very good condition, but it has a fault on receive, here are the symptoms:
Picking up stations, but when the RF gain is turned up the signal becomes unstable and oscillates.
Can anyone suggest where the fault may be?
