While?evaluating?an old rig for a friend, I
discovered the meter in a FT-101E is not
working.
I found using a millivolt source and series current
limiting resistor that the meter coil is open.
Substituting my Fluke on the 300mv range I was able to
get readings, although it is difficult to
correlate them to what they would be on an analog
meter.

I could not find? specs on what the micro amp
rating?for the meter.
?
Searching epay, I found rigs to be parted out but no
individual meter movement that has been scavenged
from a rig.
?
I would be interested in finding data about and ?a
source for the meter movement.
