Another thing is to take photos of each of the boards before you start so you have a reference plus only change one at a time making sure of the polarity.?

It may be advisable to change the electrolytic capacitors. This can fix a lot of issues without having to realign. You have cleaned the band switch which is another common problem. Don't worry too much on the two big capacitors in the power supply but you can buy a kit of the smaller caps. It can vary between versions with the kits so you may have to get a few extra caps not included with the kit.
