As long as they are using different antennas and the transmitter of one
radio is not on the same frequency as the other radio in receive, should be
no problem.

I don't know about these radio's but anytime you have a transmitter going you don't want any other radios hooked up to the same antenna (with a couple of exceptions) . Also your receiver on a close

40 meters should be good for most digital work.
As for the radio-specific interface needed, you might also try the Fox Tango
group, which has a lot more members.
