Make sure your data port is configured properly in the menu for rear and not mic.

Update... The FNB-41xh 9.6 volt 1200mAh battery charged to 12.33 volts overnight. The radio will not power on, so something else is wrong. Thanks for all the info, guys. -- Rick, KK4GGL
