just an update on this,after repairing the avr board it blew the npn power transistor (twice),traced to a short on the 13.5v tx rail,it was a shorted tant on the pa,got that fixed then no display

you should put 2sc at the start of the number ok,also look at the datasheet,,i needed a transistor for the avr board on my ft-707,i looked at the spec and a tip 31 exceeded it so used that,it works
