When you connect the USB cable between your PC and the DR5000, Windoze will allocate three ports for DR command, Loconet and Xpressnet, which should agree with the numbers you see on the DR5000.
You set the Network protocol using the LAN button. If you are to use the Z21 wifi app, the protocol should be set to z21/wlanmaus from the dropdown box.
Note the IP address of the DR5000.
Having dowloaded the Z21 app on your device, connect the wifi to the WLAN which is something like DR5000-SERIAL . Password is 12345678
When you open the app, set the IP address to that of the DR5000.
