What works for me is to use the feedback module type Roco 10808 CAN which has two settings.

RA - Report Address (1-20) is the first address of each block of 8 Inputs.
I - Input (1-8). Is the actual Input number of block of 8 Inputs.

This then gives the following.

With the first DR4088LN-CS set with a start address of 1 then the first 8 Inputs are

This does mean however that the top limit of sensors that the Z21 App in this configuration will display is 160 but only if you start numbering your DR4088 with address 1

The first Roco setting is
First Sensor (1) Input Terminal 1 = Roco setting RA=1 I=1

Should you start with your DR4088 at address 33 then the first Roco setting is
First Sensor (1) Input Terminal 1 = Roco setting RA=5 I=1
So the total number of sensors that the Z21 App will display will be 136

Now I am not saying that this is the only or correct solution but it will work for me.

Also note that this only applies to the new version of the Z21 App as the original version of the App does not have the Roco 10808 CAN type listed.
