Think you need a port splitter app to generate separate com ports as each needs its own.
I have Train Controller, JMRI, Loconet Checker, CML all connected at the same time via a PR4 all using the same Loconet data but each uses a separate com port to connect.
I wonder if anyone has had success in combining the YD7001, JMRI and iTrain together. All 3 want to use LocoNet but some refuse to connect saying the com port is already in use. Why do I need all 3 apps running? The YD7001 wifi server does not support latching or unlatching function keys. The JMRI server does. The wifi controllers I use do not have latching/unlatching toggles so i need the controller to do this. I use a UWT100. Not having latching configurable is fairly important with my Tsunami2 decoders. I have paid for iTrain so I intend to use it to run unit trains!
Running the YD7001 app first then starting JMRI gives a com port-in-use error. For me at least the Human(c)ity experience is different. How weird. So why post in the YaMoRC forum here? :) it's because the YD7001 has the LAN connection and I don't have to have its wifi turned on. My next attempt will be to put an ethernet switch in and connect the computer and the YD7001 together that way. I believe I still need the USB/Com port to configure the YD7001?
