My previous layout simply used Atlas switch machines in parallel with a circuit with a CDU and the power supply.? Lighting is something I will consider in the future but initial plan is set up the new layout for turnout control with DCC.? Just to let you know, I live western US.? A few questions:
Can you tell me the brand and model number of your industrial supply?? Makes sense to purchase one supply that can operate multiple 4018's through a bus as I likely use at 6 4018's for just turnouts.
What is the advantage of using relays between the supply bus and turnouts??
Street price for an Atlas snap relay is $12.? Is there a cheaper alternative that is plug and play or simple set up??
