I have been trying to set up a single DR4018 to control a few 2 aspect signals, and some crossing signals.
I am using a DR5000 ap. to write the CVs.
I can easily programme the Presets in CV47, do a reset through CV8, and also give the module a starting address.
All Presets work as intended, so it seems that the writing of CVs is OK.
However from here, to actually configuring the individual output CVs to the values required for a nominated function is beyond me.
Am I missing something somewhere that explains this process.
All videos I have seen only show how to setup using presets?
I tried to use the values as described in the document posted here called "JMRI?DR4018 JMRI? DecoderPro? Programming ?advanced"
However I come unstuck when trying to write the values in the relevant CVs. 113-128, 109, 111, & 112.
Ie:?on the 2 aspect signal, when turned on both Lights come on, and then both go off when the switch is off , or with the crossing, only one light will flash when turned on, then only the other will flash when switch is turned off.
Are there other CVs which need to be written.
I am thinking there must be a full list of the CVs and their values for each individual function that the DR4018 can control.
I think I understand that I need to Put a value in say CVs 113 & 114 for output 1 to control a crossing signal wired into that output.
However when I do this each light flashes individually depending on whether the switch is on (Left side flashes) or off (right side flashes) and not as they should (both on at the same time but out of phase.)
I feel I'm rambling so will leave it there and hope for a response I can understand. ? ??
