Hi All,

Absolutely miserable day here so I have used it to do some photo correcting and have added them to albums in the photos section. Have a look /g/YAHS64/photos and compare what I have with your own collections and see if there are any I don't have. If you do, can you please scan them at the highest resolution you can (600 DPI is good) and save them as TIF files. That way I can correct them. Or alternatively send them to me and I will do it...or somewhere like Officeworks would do them as well. All in all it is a good collection from our time there. I have also added a couple from our last get together.

Hope this finds you all staying away from the virus and in good health.

John

Re: Ariah Park

Not sure why your message bounced back Grahame - sorry you can't make it but understand...work first - time you joined the retired ranks :0) .

Brings it back to 14 Chris Davey.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone else tomorrow.

To all,

Mick had returned to his roots in Newcastle.

Bill told me some time ago that he had run into Mick playing cards at some mutual acquaintances.

?

My recollection is that Mick had done his time at BHP and then somehow moved into teaching.

If I get details of any funeral I will pass them on.

Unfortunately in these strange and strained times we are prevented from paying our respects at funerals.

Think if I am still playing cards at 94 I will consider it better luck than management.

Hi All,

Unfortunately the week beginning the 6th July doesn't suit Chris, our host, but it looks like Friday 17th does. For the people heading off to Qld and can't make this one we will have another one prior to Christmas with the venue tba - probably time to head back over to Griffith maybe.

Chris tells me that the Ariah Park pub has been done up quite nicely and Jacquie and Paul have really turned the place around and are a wonderful? asset to the town. So if you are looking for accommodation, please try them - you can contact them on 69741182 or 04258741182. have a look for further details. Chris also tells me the cafe (on the same side of the main street as the Pub) does coffee so the early birds can meet up there and then we can head off to said pub for lunch. So let's say 10am for the early birds and 1pm for lunch. Please bring your best memories so we can further pick brains. :0). Thanks Chris.

So we can book ahead for lunch and cafe coffee can you please confirm with me for numbers....perhaps by say Wednesday next week - 24th

Look forward to hearing from you all.
