Re: Vale Mick Tynan

Please be assured, Col, that there’s no need to do a Ryerson on me.?

Thanks for letting us know David. The funny thing is, I did a Ryerson index search for him a couple of weeks ago to see if he was still alive!

To all,

Mick had returned to his roots in Newcastle.

Bill told me some time ago that he had run into Mick playing cards at some mutual acquaintances.

?

My recollection is that Mick had done his time at BHP and then somehow moved into teaching.

If I get details of any funeral I will pass them on.

Unfortunately in these strange and strained times we are prevented from paying our respects at funerals.

?

Think if I am still playing cards at 94 I will consider it better luck than management.

Hi All,

Sad news from Dave Sanderson that Mick Tynan has passed away - apparently from kidney failure at 94. Damn good innings I think. I often think of him when I am playing in the shed on some wood project or other and now often regret not paying more attention. :0) . Not sure where he lived but guess others will.

RIP Mick
