Re: Couple of things
开云体育Oh Jonny Oh Johnny Oh... it appears that you have unbottled a hornet nest.
I had better get the abridged version of my 75 pages to you soon so others can
add bits while we seem to be on the go. I will attempt to do it on the weekend
if it is raining. I actually have Steve Aughey visiting on Saturday as I am baby
sitting his car while he is on a mini-break in the city. And speaking of Alan
Ruby, if you search “alan ruby” the first article that comes up should be his
profile for the uni. he is at in the USA. It makes interesting reading. He has
come a long way since we smoked a pipe together behind a bush on the front
lawn!

Hi Alan, ? Firstly, sorry to hear about the leg – that’s not good but hope you are otherwise OK. Are you still in Deniliquin? ? Dorm 7 was closest to the Dining Room – and Alan Rub? I never thought of him – be interesting to see other reactions to that. Interesting about your thoughts of Gardiner 5 &6…let’s see what others have to add – I for one certainly cannot remember…and I think I was in Dorm 7 as well – 2nd on right (I think). And OK on Alan Ruby…interesting – I know Howard was there somewhere ? John ? From:

groups.io ? Hi John and All, ?????????????????????????????? To answer your Question regarding 1968 - ( I thought That'll be easy - Ha ) , I was in dorm 8 - or was it 7 ??? - the one closest to the dining room anyway !!!?? and slept near Kel and Dino ( so they can confirm ) . I suspect Alan Ruby may have been our prefect - but am open to corrections. ???????????????????????????????? Weren't there other 5th formers in dorms? 5 & 6 of Gardiner House ??? ?????????????????????????????? I ran into a bit of trouble (not literally ) in 2016 and had my leg shortened again and ( to cut a long story short ) (-sorry about the pun ) ended up in a wheelchair. So although I wont be able to make reunions, Its still good to hear how everyone is getting along. ????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? Eyles ? Hi
All - again, hope this finds you well and that Chris Davis and Dave Stott are
all improving. They're the only ones I am aware of that have been on the sick
list recently. |
