My objective of this bread scan was to look for potassium bromate .

My home setup is not ideal for low ppm substances due to noise, scatter from residual characteristic peaks and Bremsstrahlung.

Hi guys

Here is sample of white bread

This flour is usually imported from wheat producing countries like USA,China,India or Australia?.

The elemental composition depends on the cultivar, soil ,fertilizers??or any source of contaminations.

My white bread??show peaks suggestive??of Ca,Ni and Sr??among other peaks.

Sr??if exceeds RDA amounts??can be hazardous?

More so if exposed to radiation with Sr-90?

Nice scan thanks for sharing Taray.

Mercury is added in last seconds to activate the amalgam, working time is very short.

Hi guys

In dentistry traditionally a metal alloy mixture is mixed with liquid mercury in a amalgam making machine .

Looks like a small coffee machine.

This method is still used today

Newer methods are??by using special amalgam capsules .

Here is a file??of the

grey??metal alloy mixture??minus the mercury.

Copper and silver noted

Thanks

Taray

P.S The??mca file??will follow on reply?
