Follow up on the all metal pieces looking at high energies using a solid 2"X2" NaI(Tl) in Gamma Spec mode (no exciter).
The MCA used is a Spectrum Techniques UCS, and its .spu files need free SpecTech USX program to run them.
Same data used for all pictures of spectra, the difference being in software adjustments relative to the display. LINEAR mode shows relative heights of peaks, an indication of which peaks have more counts. LOG mode distorts the heights of all peaks, in a logarithmic? progression. Tall peaks are shortened, low peaks are heightened. This allows greatly different height peaks to be all displayed at once.
