For Am241 exciter xrf,the previous Rap47 within a collimator with exciters in-front setup is not going to work

How is it done now??

15 seconds and the peak search function of software identifies the Fe-55 peak with no problem. This is WITH? NO SHIELDING whatsoever on the sensor.

FYI- I? routinely run tests from 24 hours to weeks long for a single test, with no downtime.
