Re: sails
Yes I purchased UV protected sales from them 3 years ago. At the time all
he had was white. The sales are well made and fit very well.

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft X Air for 5k
Hi again, the HKS just doesnt have the power you need. Just get a 582
and go flying !

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft X Air for 5k
I second what Bill said about the Hirth.... They just dont cut it. Buy
the plane, sell the Hirth and go looking for a nice Rotax 582 and have
happy days !

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft X Air for 5k
Thanks...Know about nose down...I have always owned Kolbs....:-)
At 5k, I could replace the engine with a 582 or possibly an HKS and still do ok....I rarely keep a plane for more than a year...

Re: X-Air Ultralight Aircraft X Air for 5k
There is a Supercat here on the farm strip that has a Hirth 2706 but sadly with a spate of very serious failures, necessitating new cylinders and pistons and a complete replacement of the ignition

X Air for 5k
I just joined to get some info on the X air std...A friend has one for sale...and the price seems right...save the high cost of parts for Hirth engines...Jugs are 800 bucks...and the cylinder stud
