Sorry if I am a bit behind the times or if this sounds
stupid, but just wanting to clarify something. Is the aircraft
still in production. So basically can somebody go and buy a
completely brand-new xair standard or H as a kit and build it
brand-new.
I have verified that somebody can still
buy a brand-new X-Air aircraft as a kit. The only thing which
is not known is the current delivery time for a complete kit.
The last one I purchased took about 4 months for
manufacturing.
I know most of the two-stroke engines if not all of them have
been discontinued, so hopefully there will still be brand-new
modern options. Obviously, as I have mentioned I already have my
own old plane. But just wondering, could somebody buy a
completely brand-new kit and a completely brand-new engine that
is literally brand-new and build it? Or are they only providing
parts for people with existing kits from now on????? see above, they are also looking for other
engine options for the standard X-Air, they are reporting that
new 582 engines are still available in different markets but
they are actively considering the Hirth H35? model engine
(something I have no experience with) which has a 1000 hour
TBO and is also water cooled.?????

also note that this engine has a fuel injection option
available
