For anyone that is interested - Bing 40mm carburetor was fairly straightforward on my jab 2200 X Air Hanuman. The exhaust muffler was removed and it slipped off with a little bit of patience and effort.
Upon inspection, the carburetor was fairly dirty with carbon due to it not being inspected for 14 years in service. It was cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner and all of rings and consumable parts replaced, including the rubber diaphragm.
The Rotax dealer who serviced the bing carburetor was surprised it lasted this long with zero mechanical issues or failure. Needless to say all is well and it should be good to go for at least another 5 years.
