Is there any known issues upgrading probably early hardware to ver 3? Mine is used and has something like 1.0.4 now.

No issues that I'm aware of.? If your serial number is X0300190 or higher, follow the version B instructions.? If lower, follow version A instructions.? Recommend V3.00_build008.? Earlier V3 builds had problems.
