I have heard no discussions nor rumors of Xeigu discontinuing the 5105.? It is a very popular radio and I see no reason for them to stop now.?
The main US distributor changes almost every year. I would not take the MFJ situation as any concern except for supply. I remember back in April of last year I wanted to get one but hesitated. Then they sold out and I had to wait til Aug to get one.? Brian
