Due to the relatively high duty cycle of FT8, I run my X5105 set for 2 watts output.
I feel that it's better to be safe than sorry.? Especially with the lack of repair support from Xiegu.
(I have my FTdx10 set for 10 watts.)
In my 5 years on FT8, I've logged about 6,200 QSOs and worked? a little over 170 countries, and have 164 confirmed with LoTW.
